Good morning here By the way, I have several concerns:

*Regarding the visa application file, it is required that the passport be valid for at least 15 months. Mine will have exactly 12 months left by August. If I include it in my file, is this a reason for refusal? If so, should I get another passport? I’m in Cameroon, does anyone know where to get a passport in 2 weeks??

*I have received the documents for my accommodation. If my housing guarantor’s residence permit expires in December, yet they are supposed to accommodate me for a year, could this be a reason for refusal?

*Regarding the prior agreement, after how much time will I be received, and if Campus France gives the consulate appointment date, is it possible to postpone it because I’m really not ready for the funding (blocked account, financial guarantor)?

*If I make a blocked account of 5 million, is it still necessary to have a financial guarantor in case there is no blocked account?

Good evening @Cecilia_Kengne, the passport in Cameroon can be obtained in 24 hours since 2021. Moreover, the procedure is simple, no need for an intermediary. You simply do your pre-enrollment online (during which you pay the fee of 110,000 francs and choose your appointment date). Then you certify your identity card and birth certificate and go to the centre on the chosen day during your enrollment. Nothing complicated.

No, there is no problem. Their residence permit just needs to be valid for at least 3 months after your planned arrival date in France. The accommodation certificate is already extensively covered here.

To my knowledge, there is no fixed time frame for the issuance of the prior enrolment agreement or for the end-of-procedure email from Campus France. Depending on the demand, it can take from a few days to several weeks. Generally, Campus France does not provide appointments at the embassy; it is up to the student to schedule their own appointment.

If your blocked account can cover your tuition fees in addition to your living expenses, you do not need a financial guarantor for the sponsorship.

Regarding the guarantor, my uncle has finally decided to be my financial guarantor. Since he has 3 children and a wife who also works, I was advised to ask him to provide me with a statement to increase my chances for my application with Studely. Are they right?

« On » who exactly is that? The only question to ask is: is your uncle financially capable or not to support you? To check his financial capability, go read the article I wrote on the subject, then do the calculation.
