We only do the AVI if the guarantor resides in Africa. If they are in France, the sponsorship certificate must be done. The monthly amount to specify is 615 euros, so there is already an issue at this level. It is advised that the guarantor’s monthly salary be three times the amount for sponsorship if they have no other dependents. Preferably, the sponsorship should be done by an « employee » and not a « student ».
