How to prove my financial resources

URGENT! URGENT! URGENT!

Hello community,

For my visa application, I am staying with my elder brother and he is also financially supporting me (both attestations are certified at the town hall). In addition to these attestations, I have €4,200 in my savings account (La Banque Postale).

However, the embassy is still asking for proof of sufficient resources amounting to €615. What should I do? Issue a new attestation with the amount of €615 specified in the document?

Thank you for your response!

Hello Anna,

To be able to respond to you, we need a bit more context: Where are you applying for your visa? Did you receive your admission in a private or public institution? How much are your tuition fees? What is the size of your brother’s accommodation? How many people are in the accommodation?

When you say « the embassy is asking me again for proof of sufficient resources amounting to 615 euros », how did you receive this request? Have you already applied for your visa and then been asked for this proof? And when you mention the postal bank, I assume you are not yet in France, how did you manage to have an account at the postal bank? Unless it is not the French postal bank?

So many clarifications!

I submitted my application at the French Embassy in Gabon.

I applied for a Job Search or Business Creation visa.

It is over 50m² and he lives with his girlfriend. No children.

I received this notification by email after submitting my application to TLS Contact Gabon.

I am indeed referring to La Banque Postale in France since I lived there.

Hello @Anna,

In this case, you need to consider making an AVI.
