Hello everyone, I hope you are doing well.

I would like to have your expertise on two points.

(1) I have been accepted by the Strasbourg School of Management (private) in Master 1 after being rejected by the universities chosen on Campus France. Among other reasons: The resumption of studies is not coherent in view of the previous course, insufficient level compared to other candidates (Bachelor’s in Accounting, Control and Audit and Master’s in CCA), insufficient prerequisites (absence of Mage test as an example). I will soon be applying for a Visa, do you think these reasons are due to an unfavourable SCAC opinion?

(2) I received the preliminary registration agreement without having added my certificate of success, is this normal? (I will have it at the beginning of September as I have to submit an internship report in addition to my final thesis defended in June 2023). I have obtained permission for late arrival from my institution until 5 October 2023.

We cannot know just based on these university rejection reasons whether your SCAC opinion is favourable or unfavourable. I invite you to consult the article that details the procedure to follow to try to find out the SCAC’s opinion on your file.

For your information, I have known several students with 7 refusals, but eventually, they got the visa with admission to a private institution.
