Hello :waving_hand: I have been accepted into a university via CampusFrance and now I have created a blocked account with the required amount. The issue is that I am not employed; the money is in a savings account and it is a contribution from the family. I have all the bank documents. Now, the question I am asking myself is: do I need to justify the origin of my funds, and if so, how do I do it given that the whole family contributed, plus my own contribution? Thank you.

I understand your concern, but why do you think the embassy will ask you to justify the source of the funds? In which city are you applying?

How was the family contribution made? Cash deposit or bank transfer?

In both cases, if you need to justify the source of the funds, you can use either the bank statements from where the transfers came or the deposit receipt in the case of a cash deposit.

Thank you for the feedback.. it’s in Burkina. We have a group where people send photos of their visas and the documents they brought, and I see everywhere they talk about proof of funds. It was in cash and I was going to deposit it. Thank you :folded_hands:
