Imagine for a moment that you are living peacefully in France, and suddenly, you receive an order to leave the country. It sounds like something out of a film, doesn’t it? Yet, this is the true story of Diallo, a Senegalese temporary worker in Eure-et-Loir.
Today, I’m going to tell you about his incredible journey, how he almost got expelled, but more importantly, how his strong ties to France saved him. Hold on tight because it’s a story of courage and determination!
Diallo arrived in France in 2015 with a student visa. He was full of ambition and decided to fully commit himself. He didn’t just focus on his studies: he landed a job in a consulting firm and, in addition, worked for the City of Dreux. And that’s not all! He also got involved in local associations. You see, he didn’t stay in his corner, he built connections, you get it!
