I am currently in my final year of studies in computer engineering, and I will be graduating with an engineering degree this year (Master’s level). Having a strong interest in cybersecurity, I applied to several universities to further my studies in this field. Recently, I received responses from these universities, and unfortunately, I received rejections with similar reasons. The reasons for rejection given to me are as follows: « insufficient level compared to other candidates »; « insufficient scientific level in view of all applications »; « the teaching units you have previously acquired have been deemed insufficient compared to other applications and the expectations of the requested programme »; « insufficient level in fundamental disciplines for the intended programme ». In some cases, I was also informed that reorientation was not possible according to the admission committee. However, among these negative responses, I also received excellent news: I have been accepted into the Master 2 programme in cybersecurity at Aix-Marseille University. Now, regarding the reasons given to me, is there a risk that the SCAC opinion might be unfavourable?
