My financial guarantor is blacklisted by the bank!

Hello Mr Andrew, all my files are almost complete. My appointment at VFS is on 12th June, I have made an AVI Studely of €750 and I have added a physical guarantor to my file, who is my aunt. She has given me her payslips with a net salary of 2,500,000 as well as her work certificate, her ID card, and a letter of financial support written by herself which she has legalised, but she refuses to give me her bank statements, saying she is blacklisted by the bank. I told her that the bank statements were very important but she insists that she is blacklisted and cannot provide them pfff .

Was the embassy mistaken? At first glance, one might think so. However, it was not mistaken. The guarantor of our friend, after monthly expenses for the last two months, had less than 350 euros remaining. This is revealed by the examination of her bank statements. So, if she often spends almost everything and doesn’t even have 350 euros in her account, it’s proof that she cannot provide a sponsorship of 350 euros. We are not in Africa where one might think the embassy will assume the guarantor will organise to spend less when she has the responsibility. The embassy cannot think this way. For this institution, it is the normal way for the other to live.
