To justify my means of subsistence, he would like to make an AVI on an account in my name of €615/month from his account, but it is almost impossible to open an account remotely.
I would like to know what to do in this situation:

I advise you to legalise the letter after verifying its solvency as indicated in our article on student financial support. For legalisation, simply go to the town hall of his place of residence in France with the letter, his ID, and proof of residence.
As for the ideal date to submit your student visa application to the consulate, I would say you should apply as soon as possible, do not wait until the last minute.
If your French financier wants to make a transfer, open an account with Studely, for example, and give them the account number. They will then transfer funds to your Studely account. They will provide you with the transfer receipt, which you submit on your Studely account. Among the documents required for support, there is the ID card of the guarantor or their residence permit.
My guarantor’s ID card expired in 2020. He wanted to renew it but there is a French law that extends the validity by 5 years, so he was told that his ID card is still valid until 2025.

You can use it as is, the embassy is a French administration. But if your guarantor has a passport, you can use it to avoid dealing with an agent who doesn’t know this law. As that recruiter said, « I hate unlucky people »
