Hello dear community
My little sister residing in Cameroon has been admitted to a public university with partial exemption. I am a student on an apprenticeship contract and earn above the minimum wage, which is €2000 gross and €1855 net. I would like to know if I can support her with €615/month for a year. I live alone in rented accommodation without any expenses.
A Campus France YouTuber told me: « a student cannot provide financial support even if they have millions, » I didn’t understand why.
I also thought about going to see my bank manager in France to get an AVI (Attestation de Virement Irrévocable) for her, but I’m not sure if it’s possible.
