Hello everyone, I hope you are well. I am writing to request some information. Indeed, my guarantor has arranged for me to obtain a 3-year irrevocable transfer certificate (3-year AVI). I would like to know if this could cause a problem with my visa application. Thank you in advance!

Where do you need to apply for your student visa? An irrevocable transfer certificate for three years doesn’t tell us anything without indicating the amount you will have available on a monthly or quarterly basis.
So, roughly speaking, since you have an AVI that exceeds 12 months, it’s no longer the duration that could lead to a visa refusal, but rather whether the amount that has been blocked is sufficient or not.
Reminder: The minimum amount is 615 euros or 350 euros if you have free accommodation during your studies. To this, you must add your tuition fees if they are significant.
I am applying in Burkina Faso. My financial guarantor is a Managing Director. He plans to pay me 615 euros per month. His bank statement for the last three months shows that he has 80 million CFA francs in his account.
