The French agency Campus France, as the lead, is working in collaboration with a European consortium composed of DAAD (Germany), Nuffic (Netherlands), the Education and Youth Board (Estonia), the Academic Cooperation Association (ACA, Belgium), and the Czech National Agency for International Education and Research (DZS, Czech Republic). This partnership aims to strengthen the cooperation and international strategy of European higher education and research institutions.

Objectives and Actions of the Fourth Phase

The fourth phase of « Study in Europe » focuses on several major areas:

  1. Analyses and Studies: Conducting studies on national promotion strategies, access to scholarships and international student mobility.
  2. Events and Fairs: Organising 12 student fairs and institutional events, both virtual and in-person, as well as managing the Study in Europe information portal.
  3. Communication and Networking: Developing communication tools and running integrated campaigns on social media, in addition to setting up thematic webinars and networking activities.
  4. Capacity Building: Organising annual seminars and training sessions to promote European higher education, particularly for less visible institutions internationally.

New Partners and Key Figures

Three new partners join this phase: SEPIE (Spain), Uni-Italia (Italy), and UEFISCDI (Romania), contributing to the dissemination and implementation of activities.

Previous phases of the project have already shown impressive results. Between 2020 and 2023, a series of fairs attracted 17,000 visitors and 406 European exhibitors. Additionally, promotional activities reached 230,000 followers, reaching 27 million people on social media, with 700,000 views for promotional videos.

Consolidation and Future Vision

The fourth phase of « Study in Europe » aims not only to enhance Europe’s attractiveness as a study destination but also to strengthen a common approach to promoting higher education. By consolidating the institutional network and targeting prospective students outside Europe, this ambitious project is part of the European Union’s strategy to maintain its position as a global leader in higher education.

Campus France, a key player in this initiative, continues to play a crucial role in promoting French and European higher education, supporting the internationalisation of institutions and facilitating the mobility of students and researchers.
