How to get your visa

Hello everyone, I have a concern that I wish to share with you before submitting my application to the French embassy. I have a degree in civil engineering and I am currently in a Master’s programme in the same field, which I will complete this year. My past experiences have led me to take an interest in the building envelope sector, which involves cladding, carrying out exterior finishes of buildings, etc. Hence, I applied for a BTS in Building Envelope this year with the aim of complementing my education by following another branch of civil engineering.

My question is whether this will cause me any issues during my visa process.

Should I include an explanatory letter to clarify this?

And finally, what are my chances of obtaining the visa in light of all this?

Happy to see you again @COOPER

How did you get the admission? Did you go through Campus France or did you apply directly? Finally, what matters is going to be the SCAC’s opinion.

I received acceptance through Parcoursup, which was validated by Campus France.

Okay. As already mentioned in my previous message, it is the opinion of the SCAC that will be decisive. You should try to find out if this opinion is favourable or unfavourable.

Good luck!
