Hello family, I hope you can help me. I am new and didn’t know where to write, here is my problem: here is a clear and structured summary of my journey since the beginning of my student visa application:
Study project in France
I obtained a baccalaureate three years ago, I did a first and second year of BTS without obtaining the BTS, I retook it and it failed again but I have very good grades in class.
I then decided to apply to a private French school, Chosen school: ESG Finance, a school recognised by the State and offering a 3rd year bridge programme in finance. They told me that with my background and my grades I was eligible for their programme. I had to take tests.
Planned training: From 11 February 2025 to 31 September 2026, with confirmed admission and a deposit of €3,000 already paid. Remaining €6,100.
I had my Campus France interview and received an email some time later validating my study project.
I have already obtained a certificate stating that I am authorised to join the school until 28 February 2025.
First visa application (refusal)
For reason 5: The information provided to justify the conditions of stay is incomplete and/or unreliable.
Strategy to reapply for the visa
To correct the mentioned elements, several actions have been taken or planned:
a) Strengthening the academic file (I wonder if it’s necessary)
Certificate from the school clarifying admission, training dates and the title awarded (certified RNCP level 7). - The Campus France email where they validate my project. - The support letter from my institution.
b) Financial capacity (reason 5)
I decided with my parents to turn to Avicenter to get a statement for the €7,380 requested, but I wonder how to justify that I will pay the remaining €6,100 for my school because it costs €9,100 and I have already paid a €3,000 deposit. I also entrusted this organisation to find me accommodation.
I await your feedback and a response. Therefore, I am in Côte d’Ivoire.

I don’t understand, how did you do the first time regarding accommodation and financing? In any case, you need to demonstrate how you plan to pay your tuition fees.
To help us see clearly, you need to tell us how you managed especially for accommodation and financing your studies for the first application, and now the adjustments envisaged. From there, we can advise you.
Good evening and thank you for responding to me @Andrew, For the academic documents, I hadn’t added the Campus France email. I had included the prior agreement that Campus France gave me.
For finances, my aunt and uncle had agreed to be guarantors. They made a statement where one would provide €350 for my living expenses and the other €500 for my school. My aunt earns €2500 each month and my uncle €2700. They also provided all the requested documents, i.e., the last three months’ payslips, tax notice, etc.
For accommodation, it was also with them; they have a four-room, three-bedroom house with a living room and two daughters. The accommodation was close to my school, 30-40 minutes away. And nothing was mentioned to the embassy about them having two daughters.
To resolve the issue, we decided to make an AVI of €850/month for living expenses (that is €510 for school and €340 for my living expenses) and for the accommodation, we still kept my aunt and all her documents.
