Difficulty filling out the visa application form

Hello community! I am currently filling out my student visa application form, but I am having difficulty with the « Family Members » section. My first guarantor is French (my uncle) and the second (my aunt) is a foreigner, she has her residence permit. However, several options are available to me:

  • Foreign ascendant not dependent on a French national or their spouse

  • Foreign ascendant dependent on a French national or their spouse

  • Others

Which option should I tick?

Hello @Beni_saint_joss_MBEMBA If it is your guarantor, naturally you are their responsibility. Technically, it is the second option.

When filling out the form under ‹ ‹ family members › › I have a guarantor in France but he is of foreign nationality, which option should I choose:

  • Foreign ascendant not dependent on a French national or their spouse
  • Foreign ascendant dependent on a French national or their spouse
  • Other
    I specify that he is single
