As part of efforts to simplify procedures for Algerian students wishing to pursue their studies in France, Campus France Algerie has announced an automation of long-stay study visa (#VLSE) appointment bookings at the Consulate General of France in Algiers.
This initiative comes as many students face administrative challenges when preparing for their study trip to France. The automation of appointments aims to facilitate this process by eliminating delays and frustrations often associated with consular procedures.
According to the guidelines communicated by Campus France Algerie, students under the Campus France Alger and the Consulate General of France in Algiers will automatically receive a visa application appointment a few days after receiving the end of procedure message.
The submission of applications will begin on 21 April 2024, encouraging students to anticipate the preparation of their consular file. It is strongly recommended to regularly check the email inbox indicated in the Études en France file for any important communication.

In response to a question raised by a user, Campus France Algerie clarified that it is necessary to honour appointments made individually before the automation of the process. However, students who have already made an appointment are asked to reply to the email received indicating that they already have one. This will allow other candidates to benefit from available appointments.
