I also received a visa refusal with reasons 4 and 5. I had submitted my application to pursue my master’s 2 at a private school in France, as part of a double degree under an agreement between my school in Tunisia and the one in France. I am perplexed about the reasons for this refusal, particularly reason 4. I had successfully passed the interview with the Campus France officer, although I have some doubts due to my age of 37. I wonder if this could truly be a reason for refusal, as indicated by an agency advisor.
Regarding my accommodation, I made the payment for the reservation of a studio through a real estate agency in France, recommended by the French school. I also received a housing certificate. Is there a solution to this situation?
Regarding the issue of your age, @Dia obtained his student visa in 2021 in Yaoundé when he was 39 years old.
For reason 5, you need to give us more details about the preparation of your file regarding financial, academic, and accommodation aspects: specifically, the cost of your school, your accommodation and how much you paid, how you managed the living expenses, etc…
First of all, thank you for your response. In hindsight, I am not sure if I succeeded in my interview, but on my part, I presented my study and professional project with conviction. It is possible that the officer was not convinced by my explanations.
Regarding my file, unfortunately, I made a mistake concerning the Pastel account. I did not provide proof for the years of work (I was unable to provide all the necessary documents). I think this is the reason why the decision was unfavourable. For my file, I included:
Certificate of enrolment in the French school including proof of payment of 3000 euros (the total payment amount is 8000 euros)
A certificate of a blocked account of 30 thousand Tunisian dinars = 8,882.53 euros
Tourist allowance of 1800 euros
Certificate of accommodation reservation with a real estate agency in France, I paid 500 euros for this reservation.
