Hello, I am asking this question on behalf of my cousin. Indeed, he has a degree in physics and chemistry and has been admitted to level 1 computer science in France. Several questions arise then: 1- Will the consulate or Campus France view it favourably that he is starting again at level 1 even though he has a bachelor’s degree? 2- He is considering not including his documents showing that he studied physics and chemistry in his application and looking for other things to provide instead. Is this a good idea? Thank you.

How did he manage to get admission? This Campus France might give him an unfavourable SCAC opinion which will almost automatically lead to reason 4.
Now, the only way to avoid this is to properly prepare for his Campus France interview to get a favourable SCAC opinion. Career change is always allowed, but one must be able to explain it well. Generally, a regression of one year is allowed, but up to three, it starts to be viewed unfavourably.
As for whether or not to include his documents for the licence in physical chemistry, if he doesn’t include them, what does he plan to say he was doing during those years? Eating in the neighbourhood? Why not!
