I wonder if the retired status is causing the problem or if I should have a lease contract instead? Should I include my mother in the sponsorship certificate? She is employed as a teacher.
If I understand correctly, you have fully paid your tuition fees, you have an AVI of 800 euros per month, and you have accommodation costing 502 euros per month. You don’t have a rental contract, but rather a screenshot from the director with the payment receipt? If so, it is then clear why you have a reason 5. You need a rental contract or a certificate of accommodation which we can help you obtain.
What is the name of your school, and in which city is it located?

@gninfangui_Thio In my opinion, I think you should provide a lease contract that genuinely guarantees you have accommodation (several people have been able to obtain signed rental leases without visa conditions). And a signed rental contract also genuinely commits to the residence, hence its importance. This is just my opinion indeed.
Hello, If it’s reason 5, I advise you to insure your accommodation with ADH insurance, attach it to your file, and then resubmit your visa application.
I was in a similar situation to yours and I got my visa. I had a retired guarantor, an AVI of €800 per month, and my rent was €430 (but in this case, I presented a lease contract signed by the landlord and myself). You might want to consider having your own lease contract.
Good evening family, I was refused because of reason 5. I’m not quite sure why… my financial guarantor earns a good living in England, he makes nearly £7000 a month and has a good account, but I think it’s just because of the accommodation as I submitted a hotel reservation. What documents can I provide regarding my guarantor apart from the payslips and valid passport?
