You don’t necessarily need to pay the full tuition fee. If you plan to reapply, here’s the setup I recommend:
- You need to make an Irrevocable Transfer Certificate, with the effective blocking of the subsistence amount, i.e., 615 euros x 12 in a bank account,
- If his father’s bank statement shows he has enough money, he should make a commitment to cover the tuition fees. He must indicate that he will pay according to the terms requested by the school, for example, in three or two instalments. To give more credibility, this commitment should be legalised at the town hall of his place of residence. As we saw in Benin, solvency is verified not only on payslips but also on bank statements.
