Hello, I have just received a visa refusal for the reason: the information provided to justify the purpose and conditions of the intended stay is incomplete and/or unreliable.
My application was composed as follows:
Certificate of enrolment at a recognised institution HEAD Paris
Campus France receipt
Internship certificate at a law firm where I am currently and my diplomas
Health insurance
An Avi issued by a microfinance amounting to 10 million
A certificate of accommodation + identity documents and proof of residence of my host 1 hour from the school (I don’t know if that causes a problem)
Good evening @Grace1, I’m sorry. I would like to know if it’s the constitution of your file over there? Didn’t you write an explanatory letter? Because this reason is generally related to the information or documents you provided that are incomplete or seem doubtful. It could concern dubious financial documents, inconsistencies in your file, or the non-production of certain supporting documents. A good explanatory letter will help link all of this together.
And to better understand reason 5, you can watch this video.
Hello @Grace1 Unless you have your Private Pass, questions must be answered publicly.

We need more information: How much does your school cost? How much have you paid? What is the name of the microfinance that issued your AVI? 10 million of what? Euros or Zimbabwean dollars? And how many square metres is the accommodation? Does your host live alone? Is he/she French or not?
My host is Cameroonian with a 5-year residence permit, and the area of his home is over 60 m². His home is 52 minutes from the school. He lives alone.
The microfinance institution that issued the notice is « Financial house », and it concerns 10 million CFA francs. I am in Cameroon, in Yaoundé.
The name of the institution is HEAD (Hautes Études Appliquées de Droit), and the total tuition is €6,900. I have paid €1,200, which covers the registration and the first installment.
10 million CFA francs is more than 15 thousand euros. So obviously, the only issue with your file is the fact that you went through a microfinance for your AVI.
