Hello, I am Haitian, and I received a refusal for reason 5 for my application. I intend to reapply but I don’t know exactly where the problem lies. Since this reason concerns accommodation and financial conditions, I will explain my file:
Accommodation: a reservation certificate from Studapart as well as the lease contract issued by the landlord. (I paid the first month’s rent as it is a reservation, but I still owe the security deposit, which was mentioned in the contract, I don’t know if this is an issue)
Financial resources: - Sponsorship certificate by my father who lives in Canada, signed and notarised - Bank statements for the last 4 months - Payslips - Employment letter - Tax declaration - Identity document - and proof of family relationship

Assuming your accommodation signed with Studapart is not more than an hour and a half by public transport from your school, it is more than likely that reason 5 you received originates from the resources section of your file.
Thank you for your response. By public transport, the accommodation is 19 minutes from my school. And it costs 170 euros for the year while the accommodation is 495 euros per month.
