I have been accepted into a major public engineering school where the tuition fees amount to €6000 per year. For financial documentation: I have an AVI of €7380, the identity document of the guarantor (the person who provided the AVI), their last 3 payslips, and their employment certificate. Since the tuition fees amount to €6000, I have an uncle residing in Côte d’Ivoire who also wants to provide me with a second AVI from a bank in his place of residence, where the bank will make a single and irrevocable transfer of €7000 for the payment of my tuition fees. He will also add his identity document, his last 3 payslips, and his employment certificate. I remind you that for accommodation I have a housing certificate (30km) from the school.
I would like to have your opinions Here are my questions 1) Does including two AVIs in my application pose a problem? 2) Would the fact that the second AVI comes from a bank based in Côte d’Ivoire pose a problem?
Which bank is your uncle planning to use in Côte d’Ivoire?
Generally, what can be problematic is the credibility of the bank as we saw in Morocco (a student’s AVI was refused by the embassy), moreover, a one-time transfer can potentially appear suspicious
Does your school allow you to pay the tuition in one or multiple instalments?
Tuition fees can be paid in three instalments but must be completed by the end of October. In Benin, the bank UBA In Côte d’Ivoire, the bank Société Générale
But if you plan to pay your tuition fees in one instalment, you can simply make a transfer to your institution’s account. No need for an AVI for tuition.
