Hello, I am starting the process to obtain a visa. I have two sponsors who will support me, my first sponsor is Malagasy but lives in Congo. I asked him to write a sponsorship letter for 700 euros. I have another Malagasy sponsor in France, who will write a sponsorship letter for 400 euros. My total sponsorship will therefore amount to 1100 euros. My question is, is this amount of 1100 euros not too excessive, given that I have free accommodation, so a minimum of 308 euros? It should be noted that my first sponsor earns 10,000 euros per month, however, he was not very solvent in the first month on the bank statement (0 euros at the end of the month). Thank you in advance for your responses.
Hello @unknownuserfrommadagascar
I have taken note of your request,
Before I respond, tell me, did you enrol in a private or public school?
If private, have you paid a deposit?
And how much does the other guarantor earn? Are they solvent?
Hello, I am enrolled in a public university. The other guarantor is solvent, earning around 3500 to 4000 per month, and their bank statements for the past three months are clean.
The amount of financial support is not an issue as long as it is above 615 euros (350 for free accommodation). But the question is: why do you want two guarantors? If the one in France is solvent (see how to calculate solvency conditions here), it is better for him to provide financial support on his own. Otherwise, consider making an AVI of 350 euros, since you already have free accommodation.
Good luck!
Hello, I have some doubts about the risk of refusal for reason 4, project inconsistency. Technically, I’m in M1, having just obtained my bachelor’s degree. However, I have been admitted to L2, which means a two-year regression even though I haven’t taken any exams in M1 yet (it has just started). I wanted to know if there is a risk of refusal for me. If so, what would you advise me to do? An explanatory letter or something else? Thanks, community. PS: The prerequisites of my future university clearly state that you must have completed the level above the year you are applying for to be admitted. So, I needed to validate L3 to be admitted to L2.
OK, what’s the name of your university? If you’ve just started M1, technically you can be considered to have just the L3 level.
Good luck!
This is the University of Grenoble Alpes. So, I won’t need to write an explanatory letter saying that at the time of the application I was in L3 and now I am in M1?
