Receipt for residence permit guarantor

@Andrew Hello! Could you please clarify this last step of my visa application?

My financial guarantor had a student residence permit. He started working and applied for a residence permit with the mention ‹ ‹ employee › ›. Since this card is not yet available, they gave him a receipt for the application for a residence permit with the mention employee.

Is it possible to submit this receipt in my file instead of the usual residence permit of the financial guarantor?

Thank you very much!

Hello @Turbo98

Several conditions must be checked:

  • Does he meet the salary conditions as we have detailed on student sponsorship?
  • Has he already completed his probation period or does his fixed-term contract, if applicable, cover the 12 months required for sponsorship?

If the answer to these two questions is YES. Then you can use these documents without worry. Otherwise, you must look for another solution.

Good luck!

The answer is yes!

Thank you very much!

Good evening, Andrew! Please, my financial guarantor just informed me that the receipt expired at the beginning of June. He requested a new one but was given an appointment on 7th August at the prefecture to obtain it.

Can I submit this expired receipt along with the appointment for 7th August that he was given? Should I include an explanatory letter?

Thank you very much!

The risk exists, but unless you have other options, I think you should simply take the risk of submitting it. As for an explanatory letter, there’s no need to make a specific explanatory letter, it’s unnecessary. But you can try to make a general explanatory letter.

Good luck!

@Andrew I’m going to take the risk, let’s hope it works!

Thank you very much!

@Andrew
Hello, I took the risk as you advised me and it worked :smiling_cat_with_heart_eyes:, I’ve never been so stressed lol.

I got the visa (submitted on 11 August, available on 22 August)

I just added to the expired receipt his passport and the automatic email that was sent to him when he applied online for the renewal of the receipt.

Hoping this can help others too. Here in Senegal, this is how students handle it in such cases.

Thank you very much for your availability. I was very stressed, but you responded to my messages very quickly, and it relieved me a lot :face_exhaling:

May Allah grant every wish you have deep inside you :palms_up_together:t5:

Congratulations @Turbo98, I hope to be in your situation soon.

Thank you very much!

With courage and perseverance, it will work, especially by doing research. Good luck!

Thank you very much
